Bank detail changes

The single highest-value control in the system. A change of bank account is never a profile edit — it is its own request, verified out of band, and the old account stays live until the new one is confirmed.

Verify by calling the number printed on the supplier's trading licence or their last signed contract — never a number that arrived with the change request itself. That is how payment diversion works.
